LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Music legend and world icon Dolly Parton has postponed her upcoming Las Vegas live performance dates, citing “health challenges,” the singer-songwriter introduced Sunday.
Parton, 79, introduced her grand return to the Las Vegas Strip in June with the “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas” a six-night live performance collection that was set to gentle up The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in December, marking Parton’s first prolonged Vegas run in 32 years.
In a social media publish Sunday afternoon, Parton mentioned she has been coping with some well being challenges and her docs say she will need to have just a few procedures.

“I want the fans and public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts. As many of you know, I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors tell me that I must have a few procedures. As I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,00-mile check-up, although it’s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon! In all seriousness, given this, I am not going to be able to rehearse and put together the show that I want you to see, and the show that you deserve to see.
