Leto won the Worst Actor award at the Razzies for his role in Morbius, his second Razzie win after Worst Supporting Actor in 2022 for House of Gucci. That second win came just one year after his first, a pattern that suggests his heavily mannered approach to character work isn’t landing the way he intends.
The trend has not slowed down. Leto was nominated in the acting categories at the 2026 Razzie Awards for his role in Tron: Ares. Critics have specifically pointed to his House of Gucci performance, joking about “his 17-pound latex face, his geeky clothes or his ridiculous accent”, a reputation that now follows him into nearly every heavily made-up role he takes on.
