Dystany Spurlock is returning to NASCAR this weekend.
The 34-year-old, who earlier this season turned the primary Black girl to drive in one of many sport’s high three nationwide touring sequence, will try and race in Friday evening’s Craftsman Truck Collection race at Richmond within the No. 2 Ford for Staff Reaume. Spurlock should one of many high 36 vans in qualifying out of 39 entries to make the race.

Spurlock, who’s a Virginia native and grew up close to Richmond Raceway, is in her first season of stockcar racing after a protracted profession in bikes.
