Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., was caught off guard when the progressive lawmaker was requested by TMZ whether or not she’d date a conservative.
TMZ DC managing editor Charlie Cotton approached Ocasio-Cortez outdoors Capitol Hill on the heels of her reported break up from fiancé Riley Roberts to ask about her courting habits.
“Would you ever date a conservative?” Cotton requested. “Is that [something] you’d ever entertain?”
